Strawberry Shortcake

A couple weeks ago I made some strawberry shortcakes at a bbq, and it was delicious! The next weekend I got a strawberry plant and spindly wort from the farmer’s market.

Strawberry Shortcake:

Cut a bunch of strawberries in about 8-12 pieces each, removing the stems. Optional: Mix with a little sugar, about a tablespoon for a pound. If served right away the sugar isn’t as needed. Buy some biscuits from KFC. Delicious things! Cut in half. Put the bottom half in a bowl, cover with strawberries to overflowing, add some whipped cream, put the top half of the biscuit on, cover with more strawberries and more whipped cream.
